What are lash extensions?

Artificial lashes are individually applied to your natural lashes to enhance their length, thickness, and curl. Typically made from synthetic materials, such as silk or mink, lashes are glued on using a special adhesive. You can customize the look of your lash extensions based on your preferences by choosing the length, thickness, and curl of the lashes to achieve the desired effect, whether it's natural-looking or more dramatic.

How long to apply the lashes & how long do they last?

The lash extension application process can take anywhere from 1 to 2 hrs, depending on the desired look and the number of lashes being applied. It's a meticulous and precise process to ensure each lash is individually bonded. Lash extensions usually last between 4 to 6 weeks, depending on your natural lash growth cycle. However, it's recommended to get touch-up appointments every 2 to 3 weeks to maintain the fullness of your lash extensions.

Can lash extensions damage my natural lashes?

When applied and cared for properly, lash extensions should not cause damage to your natural lashes. However, if they are applied incorrectly or if you pull or rub on them excessively, it can cause your natural lashes to become weak or break. It's important to follow the aftercare instructions provided by your lash technician. Do not remove lash extensions yourself, as it can be tricky and may cause damage to your natural lashes. Instead, visit a professional lash technician to safely remove the extensions using a special adhesive remover.

How do I take care of lash extensions?

To take care of your lash extensions, avoid rubbing or pulling on them, as this can cause them to fall out. You can wear makeup, but it's best to avoid oil-based products and waterproof mascara, as they can weaken the adhesive bond and cause the lashes to fall out prematurely. It's also important to be gentle when removing makeup or cleansing the face, and avoid rubbing or pulling on the lashes. Don't forget to brush your lashes regularly with a clean mascara wand to keep them looking neat and separated.
